Welcome
On October 21st, 2007, I depart for Beni, Democratic Republic of Congo, to assist the Congo Initiative (http://www.congoinitiative.org/). This blog is an opportunity to share this long awaited journey. It is an endeavor to draw your attention to the experience of the Congolese and bring together people and their thoughts, near and far, into a communtiy that fosters understanding. My hope...my prayer...is that this page contributes to the life of the individual and the community.
Hidden? The events that will unfold, the feelings I will feel, the thoughts I will ponder, the relationships I will develop...the "experience", is yet to be revealed. The rhythm of my heartbeat is undetermined.
